The Talisman is an elegant local restaurant located in Nairobi, Karen with an eclectic exciting vibe.
It offers multiple experiences from amazing food & drinks to group dinners, group games & green gardens, with its low comfortable couches and walls full of ancient art.
Talisman generally means a lucky charm & the whole scene, mood plus top notch service makes you feel like a lucky gem indeed.
The prices are quite affordable. I had a really tasty dawa for 500 KES & a glass of wine for almost the same price & the meal was very filling & less than 3,000 KES.
I’d advise anyone interested in trying it out to reserve a day or days before as it operates on reservations. If not, it might take a while to get a table.
It opens from Tuesday to Sunday, 8 am – 12 am & the kitchen closes at 10 pm. Breakfast starts at 8 am -10.30 am, lunch at 12 pm -3.00 pm on weekdays and 4.00 pm on weekends, in-between from 3.00 pm – 6.00 pm & dinner at 6.00 pm – 10.00 pm.
The restaurant is go green & environmental conscious.
They recently went 100% plastic free including their straws which remains very impressive.
What other places in Nairobi should we explore?
